Welcome to Plate Crafts Recipes!
My name is Zachary, and I am so glad you decided to visit my blog. I am in my early twenties, and am a registered nurse by day, home chef by night. I grew up in rural central Florida and for more than half my life, I called a small farm home that I worked on with my family. My father was quite the hands on "Mr Fix it" and my mother was a homebody that had remedies of the gods. Although childhood for me wasn't always easy, I picked up so many skills along the way of living in this environment. Along with my upbringing, I am a proud Eagle Scout since 2016. I have spent hundreds of nights under the stars with little more than a tent and a backpack. My mantra has always been "Prepared for Life". I adopted this slogan from the Scouts.
By being on the sidelines of the kitchen as a kid, I was always trying to pickup new skills. When I moved out in 2016 to college, I realized the love I had for food, but did not know how to make anything! This quickly changed as I began to cook at my apartment, and after four years I pride myself in the kitchen! I have developed a taste for food I never thought I would, and create new recipes every week. From "good ole' southern dishes" that I was raised on, to traditional asian foods, I love it all! I am so excited to be able to share my kitchen with everyone that becomes a part of this blog. I hope you will all bring these recipes into your kitchen!
Yours Truly,
